Robust miniature Hall Effect wheelspeed

  

 

The WS-09-18 is a robust miniature Hall-effect wheel speed sensor designed for demanding automotive and industrial applications. Engineered to perform reliably in extreme environments, it operates across a wide temperature range of –40 to 150°C.

The sensor features an NPN open-collector output with a maximum frequency response of 20 kHz and supports supply voltages from 4.8 to 24 V DC, making it compatible with a wide range of vehicle and industrial platforms.

For installation flexibility, the WS-09-18 can be configured at the time of order with either a 0° or 90° sensor orientation and cable lengths ranging from 200 to 1500 mm. Its compact aluminum housing weighs only 16 g while providing excellent durability, including resistance to vibration levels of up to 20 g.

  • A high maximum operating temperature of 150°C
  • Ultra-compact design to fit even the most challenging applications 
  • A frequency range up to 20 kHz, ensuring accurate readings for both low and high speeds
  • Aluminum housing
  • A target distance range of 0.5 to 2 mm

 

WS-09-18-Orientation

 

The Panga DHE wheel speed sensor features directional sensing and is available with two bracket options:


  • Bracket parallel to the trigger wheel (ordering code WS-09-18-0)

  • Bracket perpendicular to the trigger wheel (ordering code WS-09-18-90)

At the end of the ordering code, cable length can be added for production purposes.
